Dana Jones is the creative spark behind Selah Creative Company, which she’s been running since 2015. Married with two teenagers who keep life lively, Dana first dipped her toes into the maker world over a decade ago with hand-painted signs. In 2021, she discovered the magic of lasers, and she’s been engraving her heart out ever since.
Her work took an unexpected turn during the pandemic when she personalized a few pencils—and accidentally became known as The Pencil Lady. From there, the ideas just kept rolling. Today, Dana specializes in engraved pencils, ornaments, drinkware, keepsakes, and pretty much any creative project that makes her heart race a little faster.
But Dana’s creativity doesn’t stop at her studio. She’s also the host of The Selah Retreat, a five-day crafting escape for women, held at
cozy spots across the country. It’s where inspiration, laughter, and plenty of paint and brushes meet.
Whether she’s etching a meaningful keepsake or gathering women together to recharge and create, Dana believes in making things that are fun, functional, and full of heart.
